WoodGrain Bees is a small, family-run beekeeping operation based in Waikino. Our hives sit on the edge of both the Kaimai Ranges and the Coromandel Forest Park, where our bees forage among native bush and farmland.
We provide pollination services across the Bay of Plenty, working with growers and landowners to support healthy crops and strong yields. We also sell local honey, harvested straight from our own hives and bottled in reusable glass jars.
Sourced from our hives on the edge of the Kaimai Ranges and the Coromandel Forest Park near Waikino.
Our bees gather nectar from flowers such as Rēwarewa, Mānuka, Kānuka, Kamahi and Kapuka, producing a honey rich in character and flavour, unique to Aotearoa New Zealand.
