Botanical Playing Cards And Bingo

Jo Connor, who developed this collection, grew up on the West Coast and was introduced to the flowers of the English woodlands and gardens by her grandmother’s game of “Botanical Lotto”.

She learned the names of the plants as she sought to be the first to have all the numbers of the plants on her board called and win the game.

Now, 70 years later she has created Botanical Bingo and the Botanical Playing Cards which each showcase native New Zealand flora.

Botanical Bingo

A limited edition, compact game of bingo that will test your knowledge of the local flora of Aotearoa New Zealand. From Harakeke to the Chatham Island Forget-Me-Not, players of every age will enjoy discovering new plants in this time-honoured game.

Botanical Bingo features 48 high-quality cards, each displaying hand-painted Aotearoa native flora. A trivia booklet provides information on all the 48 native plants. Playing counters are held in a cotton bag.
